UMEZ Announces New CEO

Effective July 1st, 2018, Blair M. Duncan is the new President and Chief Executive Officer of the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Development Corporation (UMEZ) .  Blair has been with UMEZ for 15 years, first as General Counsel, then Executive Vice President of Administration, and subsequently as Chief Operating Officer. He will be the fourth president of UMEZ, which was established in 1995.  Blair is proud of the work UMEZ has accomplished, to enrich and retain the economic and cultural heritage that embodies Upper Manhattan. He is excited to lead UMEZ and commence further outreach in the community.
