Workforce Opportunity Investments
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the support that the New York City healthcare system needs to respond to the pandemic, Governor Andrew Cuomo issued a plea to retirees and healthcare workers to join the workforce. Our partner 1199SEIU League is actively recruiting workers to assist in hospitals and nursing homes. For workforce development providers that have clients with experience in healthcare or who are interested in entry level positions, jobseekers can apply to the 1199SEIU Employment Center here.
Please check back for more resources as we are being updated on more financing opportunities for the community.
