CopyKat is a professional duplicating/print shop based in Upper Manhattan serving businesses since 1997. Their founder, Raymond Bonhomme, recognized the need for an efficient and reliable printing service for business needs and served his community proudly.

Like many Upper Manhattan businesses, Raymond faced a hurdle when the pandemic hit. Revenues were >50% lower than in prior periods, leaving his business in a precarious position. To recover and remain in business post-pandemic, Raymond needed to rethink his business strategy and develop ways to generate new revenues. After discovering the Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone Development Corporation (UMEZ), Raymond applied for the UMEZ Hybrid Microloan and was approved.

Raymond took advantage of the Hybrid Microloan and used the funds to purchase new equipment, hire new staff, and launch a new website. With the support of UMEZ, Raymond is now rebuilding his business and continuing to serve the local community with terrific impressions.
